Past Tense

Past Tense is one of tenses in english grammer, this used to express an accident/even at the past time.

The Rule :
S + V2 + Adv/O


Example :
- I gave a management task yesterday


Where :
I = S
gave = V2 from "give"
management task = O
yesterday = Adverb of time.


Other examples :

- I went to jakarta 1 week ago
explanation : "Went" is V2 from "Go"

- He posted many articles in this forum
- He took his sallary last night

- etc..

In English there are three kind of Verb (Kt. Kerja) :

V1 = Kt. Kerja bentuk ke-1
V2 = Kt. Kerja bentuk ke-2
v3 = Kt. Kerja bentuk ke-3


Differentiation :

- V1 used in Present Tense (Waktu Sekarang)

- V2 used in Past Tense (Waktu Lampau).

- V3 used in Perfect Tense (We will discuss it leter)


Verb change :

V1 = give

V2 = gave

V3 = given

The meaning is the same "memberi".

asli baru tau sekarang, padahal mah pasti udah pernah di ajarin..

I will give one example :

"I was very handsome"

Now I am convinced will not be wrong

yup i am totally agree with you danoe, but i dont know why, im so annoyed when i try to follow the lesson, even i know its such an important things for me if i want to write or read or even want to speak english, but im still lazy to studying it...
